Mesocosum: An outdoor experimental system.
Local photographer, Tim Christensen used the historical Van Dyke process to create handmade photographs of found objects from the forest floor - including this pine cone - in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. Each of these photographs celebrates the diversity of nature and highlights the beauty and importance of these bits of carbon that are continually recycled into nutrients for our ecosystems.
